Escaping Vietnam in a small wooden boat, Lung was able to make it to Canada where he began his successful career in photography. Completely self taught, Lung has won numerous awards at home and abroad for his landscape and portrait work.
His series Salton Sea, image seen above, dramatically captures the fall of this once flourishing Eden in California. It was pegged to be the next French Riviera but a bacterial outbreak killed off the wildlife which was the beginning of the end for this location which now sits abandoned and isolated.
Lung’s work in this series are well worth the viewing and we encourage all readers to look at his other, equally moving, galleries and projects to get a feel for the level of talent his has.
